About Hazel Wheldon:
Hazel Wheldon is the President and Chief Operating Officer of MHS, Inc., a privately held publishing company specializing in the development and distribution of psychological assessments, most notably the EQ i 2.0, the most widely used measure of emotional intelligence in the world. These assessments help to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities around the world.
Hazel has her Master’s degree in School Psychology and has worked with schools and communities in both Canada and Singapore. Upon returning home to Canada after more than three years in Singapore, Hazel joined the Psychological Corporation of Canada where she worked to adapt assessments for the Canadian markets.
In 2003, Hazel joined MHS, first as Vice-President of Research and Development and then advanced into her current position in 2010 which incorporates all the day-to-day operations of the business. Hazel has been actively involved with the Association of Test Publishers, serving as the Chair of the Clinical Division and is also involved with the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) and the International Test Commission (ITC).
Hazel is an active member of TEC, Chapter 329 in Toronto and on a more personal note, is passionate about world travel and international foods.
